Apex Deck Design is family-owned and built on more than 20+ years of construction experience across St. Louis County & St. Charles County, Missouri. We started this company for a simple reason: we believe families deserve a backyard they actually use — and a builder who's on their side.
That second part matters to us. Too many homeowners get talked into projects that serve the contractor's bottom line instead of their family's life. We work differently. From the first estimate to the final walkthrough, we act as your advocate: listening first, designing around how you live, giving you straight answers about materials and costs, and building it the way we'd build it for our own family.

1. Schedule an Estimate
Tell us about your backyard and what you're dreaming of. Send a few photos of your current space right through our website, and we'll come back with ideas and a free estimate.
2. Design Together
We visit your home, walk the space with you, and listen to how your family actually wants to use it. From there we help you design a layout, pick materials, and settle on a budget that works for you — no pressure, no upsell.
3. We Build It Right
Once the design is set, our crew gets to work, bringing 20+ years of construction experience to every post, board, and railing. We keep the job site clean and keep you in the loop from first day to last.
4. Enjoy Your Backyard
We finish with a walkthrough together to make sure everything is exactly right. After that, it's yours — fire up the grill, invite the neighbors, and enjoy it for years to come.
